Mexico's Californias
Mexico’s Californias was the fifth film produced by Ken Wolfgang and was released in 1969. The film is 80 minutes in length and was shot on 16mm Kodachrome film. Wolfgang presented the film on the travel lecture circuit between 1969 and 1970. The film illustrated the natural history, scenic beauty, and archeological heritage of Baja by documenting culturally rich cities of Baja including Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas, and the ghost town of El Trifuno. In an oral history with Ken Wolfgang, the filmmaker explained that footage from Mexico’s California was edited to create a separate film titled “Baja”.
